Regular Season Round 23: Dubai - Partizan 80-72

Round 23 most important game was a defeat of league's leader SerbianPartizan (20-3). They were defeated by third ranked UAE Dubai (18-5) 80-72 on Monday night. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Partizan. 26 personal fouls committed by Partizan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Slovenian Klemen Prepelic (191-1992) who led his team to a victory scoring 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Italian Awudu Abass (198-1993) helped adding 14 points. Five Dubai players scored in double figures. South Sudanese point guard Carlik Jones (185-1997, college: Louisville) responded with 16 points and 5 assists and American-Ugandan center Brandon Davies (208-1991, college: BYU) scored 15 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dubai maintains third place with 18-5 record having just two points less than leader Buducnost, which they share with Crvena zvezda. Partizan at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Buducnost who have the same record.
